The Musa Project provides hope, healing, and restored dignity to women in Uganda by expanding access to life changing surgical care for childbirth related injuries, strengthening gynecological infrastructure, and investing in local training and capacity.

According to the Ugandan Ministry of Health, up to 200,000 women in Uganda are living with obstetric fistula, with thousands more suffering from untreated childbirth-related injuries that leave them in pain, isolation, and without access to care.

We are committed to providing compassionate, high-quality surgical care to women living with severe birth injuries. By supporting treatment, training, and long-term systems of care, we help create lasting paths to healing and dignity.

We partner with Ugandan medical leaders to expand access to life-changing surgical care. By supporting local expertise, training, and infrastructure, we help ensure care is sustainable, trusted, and built to last.
