Mike Nohr first traveled to Uganda in 2015 as a new volunteer with MedLend. After just one week of assisting in any way he could on this medical mission, he was hooked. Over the past 10 years, Mike played a crucial role in raising significant funds for Medlend and has participated in seven medical missions to Uganda, demonstrating his unwavering commitment to our cause.
Mike is truly the heart of our organization, spreading joy wherever he goes. Always thinking about others, his most cherished traditions in Uganda are handing out soccer balls to children and gifting handmade dresses to fistula patients before they leave the hospital. With an extensive network of contacts in the Bay Area and Uganda, Mike is deeply passionate about helping as many women as possible reclaim their lives.
